but on the SE side. It seems the $9 mil the city has should cover construction
costs.(Ford funded $6 mil and $3 mil from the state budget.) Obviously, there have
been major problems other than money. It seems that Studio Gang Architects will
not be involved in the center, but Loop Capital. The city will take $3 mil from
the $9 mil for another center plan.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

architects, looks more unlikely by the day. Gang is the acclaimed designer of
the Aqua building downtown, and her plans for the environmental center also
drew wide attention. But they may have been too impractical to get built.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

need a sewer connection. In 2004, its estimated cost was $7.6 million.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
