President Barack Obama signed a Presidential Memorandum establishing<br>
the America's Great Outdoors Initiative to promote and support<br>
innovative community-level efforts to conserve outdoor spaces and to<br>
reconnect Americans to the outdoors.<br>

The federal government wants to hear about the places you love, your<br>
community's efforts to protect them, and how to better support<br>
modern-day land conservation efforts happening in communities across<br>
the country.<br>
<br>
Please come and share your ideas on the four questions guiding the<br>
America's Great Outdoors initiative:<br>
<br>
1. Challenges: What obstacles exist to conservation, recreation, or<br>
reconnecting people to the outdoors?<br>
2. What works: What are the most effective strategies for<br>
conservation, recreation and reconnecting people to the outdoors?<br>
3. Federal government role: How can the federal government be a more<br>
effective partner in helping to achieve conservation, recreation or<br>
reconnecting people to the outdoors?<br>
4. Tools: What additional tools and resources would help make these<br>
efforts even more successful?<br>
