Non-migratory geese are literally covering certain areas of the park. We are not suggesting goose diapers or any other bird-brained schemes. Just because this is a meeting about geese, does not mean we are going to enter into the Chicago City Council debates about pate de foie gras.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></DIV>

They have also moved into Daley Bicentennial Plaza.</SPAN></DIV>

<DIV class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><STRONG>UIC </STRONG>scientist/biologist, <STRONG>Dr. Joel Brown</STRONG> is coming to our rescue. He is<A target=_blank name=Text11> an evolutionary ecologist and an expert on animal behavior</A>, particularly foraging behaviors. Dr. Brown helped us with the Grant Park rabbits and now he is coming back to help with the geese that have over-run parts of the downtown lakefront. He will present new and innovative ways that are environmentally sensitive to dealing with this issue. Dr. Brown is a returning guest who is not only a brilliant scientist but he is an engaging speaker, has new, fresh ideas and is very entertaining as well. Who else would have said that in the evolutionary beauty pageant, rabbits one and rats lost. He will also discuss possible Grant Park studies.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></DIV>
