American Bird Conservancy. While in the city I met with the legislative
assistants to Senators Durbin and Obama, <st1:PersonName w:st="on">Jessica
Lenard</st1:PersonName> and Todd Atkinson, respectively. Both (especially
Ms. Lenard) suggested they be informed if there are pressing local (<st1:State
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Illinois</st1:place></st1:State>) conservation
issues that could benefit from federal funding. They may be reached directly
